Project Description

Location and Access

The Goldstone property is accessed by traveling 3.4 miles south of the town of Crescent Valley on State Highway 306, then turn west on BLM 1523 (Mud Springs) and follow for 5 miles to Myers Hill. The project is centered within Section 8. The property is 10.5 miles north of Barrick’s Gold Acres open pit mine and 5 miles south of Hecla’s Fire Creek Underground gold mine.

Geology and Mineralization

The property is on BLM land and is an area of historical gold placer mining, barite mining and turquoise production. The geology is predominantly rocks of lower Paleozoic age, Slaven Cherts and metamorphic quartzites intruded by Tertiary volcanic rocks.

The Nevada Bureau of Mines’ interactive website reports that Minnova USA filed a Notice of Intent to drill Section 8 in 1991.
